Zel Haiti prides itself on paying livable wages to the employees to make sustainable medical scrubs, home goods and jewlery. The minimum wage is less than $5 a day in Haiti but that amount is simply not enough to survive and support a family. In efforts to empower the women to put food on their tables, their kids in school and rent for their houses - we prioritize paying them a fair wage. Unfortunately as a business, we are too "young" to be able to support ourselves so in effort to continue our mission, we are in need of donations or sponsorships. Each time this program receives a donation, we celebrate. The women are incredibly thankful! For the monthly sponsorships, we want to create an avenue for you to have a relationship with one of the Zel Haiti seamstresses. Thank you so much for considering a donation to this program!!
